FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
This is my first tattoo. How much does a consult cost?
Nothing — all consults with our artists are complimentary. We'll sit down with you, talk through your idea, and figure out how to bring it to life. Once we've settled on a design direction and matched you with the right artist, we'll ask for a deposit to secure your appointment.
Do you take walk-ins, or is it appointments only?
Both. If you already know what you want, we're happy to take walk-ins whenever an artist is free. For larger or custom pieces, booking ahead guarantees your spot and gives your artist time to prepare.
I'm not from Toronto or the GTA. Can I still book with you?
Absolutely — we love that you want to make the trip. Let us know where you're travelling from and we'll do our best to accommodate your visit, including grouping sessions together where possible.
How does the deposit work?
A deposit set by your artist is required to book your appointment and is applied toward the final cost of your tattoo. Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred if you reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel?
Life happens. Give us at least 24 hours’ notice and we'll move your deposit to a new date. Cancellations or no-shows with less notice forfeit the deposit.
Do you require ID? Is there a minimum age?
Yes — you must be 18 or older and bring valid government-issued photo ID to every appointment. No exceptions.
-
Do you specialize in different tattoo styles?
Yes. Our artists each bring their own expertise, from fine-line and blackwork to colour realism and traditional. During your consult, we'll introduce you to the artist best suited to knock your design out of the park.
Can I bring my own design or reference images?
Please do. References help us understand what you're after, whether it's a specific image or just a general vibe. Your artist will refine it into something that works well as a tattoo and fits your body.
Do you do cover-ups or rework old tattoos?
Yes. Cover-ups and reworks take extra planning, so we recommend booking a consult first. Bring a clear photo of the existing tattoo or drop by so we can assess it in person.
-
How much will my tattoo cost?
It depends on size, detail, placement, and the artist's rate. Our shop minimum is $100. Larger pieces are typically billed hourly or by session depending on the artist. We'll give you a quote at your consult so there are no surprises.
Do you accept card, cash, or e-transfer?
We accept cash and e-transfer.

How should I prepare?
Get a good night's sleep and eat a solid meal beforehand.
Stay hydrated and moisturize the area for a few days prior.
Avoid alcohol and blood thinners (like Aspirin or Advil) for 24 hours before.
Wear comfortable clothing that gives easy access to the tattoo area.
Try to avoid a sunburn prior to getting tattooed— we can't tattoo damaged skin.
Can I bring a friend?
One guest is welcome to keep you company. Please leave kids and pets at home for safety and hygiene reasons.
